As a church, we take safeguarding very seriously and have put measures in place with the aim that anyone who partakes in an activity run by the church not only feels safe, but is safe from any form of harm. These measures can be found in our Safeguarding Policy, which is reviewed and updated regularly.

Our church building is used for services on Sundays, as well as a range of activities throughout the week designed to serve all ages, including children, young people, and adults with additional needs. Activities organised by Argyle Community Church and held away from our premises are also subject to our Safeguarding Policy. Partner organisations who use our premises are expected to have their own policy which meets recognised safeguarding standards.

Argyle Community Church is registered with the Charity Commission and is a member of Thirtyone:eight, a Christian charity which supports organisations with all their safeguarding needs.

Our current safeguarding policy (updated January 2023) can be found here. Please note this document is protected and cannot be downloaded/printed. If you wish to do this, please contact us.
